Back from Surgery

I'm sorry I've been away for the last two weeks or so.  I had my surgery on Black Friday.  The surgery went well.  I had my gallbladder removed.  It was full of large stones and infected.  The only problem I've had really, since the surgery, is that I can't eat much.  At first I was taking bread and water.  The doctor says I can eat what ever I want, but I can't.  Any meat, or anything heavy, makes me sick.  So now I am eating mostly bread and vegetables.  And chocolate milk shakes!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  All my family, and a few friends also.  We have a lot to be thankful for.

We have had some changes with our children lately as well.  Daughter #1, our oldest twin, got accepted to nursing school!  She is very excited, and we are so proud of her.  She is very excited to get this part of her life started.

Daughter #2 is pretty sure she has decided to enlist in the Naval Reserves.  She decided this last week.  She would be leaving for basic in February.  She is very excited about the decision, and we are happy for her.

This year I'm not decorating much for Christmas.  I put up a small tree, and set out a few things.  That may be all that gets done this year.  I have to do some shopping this weekend.

Well, I think that is enough for tonight.  I look forward to seeing you again tomorrow!  Honey
